How time flies I can't believe that my babies are so big already Carina is 3 now and Jiana is two months old today. Carina is as sassy as ever and she is a wonderful big sister, she gets a little too excited at times but she just wants to help. Jiana is smiling so much and talking to us. I had returned to work already and it has not been easy to leave my girls. Here are some new pics of the girls. Here are a bunch pictures enjoy.

Once again I have taken forever to update the blog but I have a great reason.

Our beautiful baby was born on August 8,2009 and since then I have had my hands full with both our little girls.

On August 6th I had my last visit and I was only 2cm and not much was happening with contractions. So my doctor and I decided that I was ready to get induced. I wasn't getting much sleep and the baby was already over 8lbs. So the next day we all headed to Winnie Palmer and at about 2:30 pm my induction began. I was excited, nervous and sad all at once. I couldn't wait to see her and hold her, but I was scared about the delivery part and I was going to miss her being in my belly. At about 2:30am I was checked and the doctor was ready to send me to labor and delivery. That was when I broke down crying I was worried that I would have the baby and my Mom wouldn't make it to the delivery because she was at out house with Carina and my sisters were all the way in Poinciana. I didn't know if I would feel all the pain I had with Carina. Luckily this time the epidural worked fabulously but not before some contractions brought me to tears.

Finally at about 2:45 pm Saturday my parents and the rest of my family were all at the hospital Dr.Kareem said it was time to push, after 3 pushes and 24hrs of labor my angel was here . At 2:56pm I had my baby in my arms and she was as beautiful as I imagined. My delivery was great and our baby was here healthy and chubby just as yummy as could be. Even the delivery nurse loved her fat rolls on her thighs.

I am a very happy Mami and I have all that really matters in life. Thank you God for my family.

OK so this will be my final post before Baby Jiana arrives. I had my last sono yesterday and my check up today, she is now 8lbs 4oz. and as of this this afternoon I am 3cm dilated. Once I got out of my appointment I was very happy & excited. I hope to keep progressing during the week if not I will go to the hospital on Friday to get induced. I can't wait to meet her, hold and kiss my little angel. It feels like a relief to know the wait will soon be over. Her room is done all we are missing is her. Carina can't wait to meet her and help Mami take care of her. I'm not worried about Carina and having a new baby in the house because she seems to love babies and I plan to include her as much a possible. I am so thankful that God has blesses us with another little girl and that Carina will have someone to grow up with.

So this is it the next time I post I will be putting pictures of our beautiful little Jiana.

Hello friends I just realized that it has been yet another month already since I last updated the blog. This past month we got a chance to take some maternity and family pictures as well as getting some projects done around the house. In the beginning of the month Je'Nay graduated from Freedom High School as an Honor student and we are VERY Proud of her. I also had a chance to get some really cute 4D pics of Jiana at the Ultrasound convention.

On June 20th I had my shower and I have to say thank you to Mami, Nadja, Zuky & Jen for putting it together. It was a nice afternoon with just the girls, we got lots of beautiful gifts and had a good time playing games and getting advice from friends. The funniest ones came from my friends that still don't have kids, it was interesting to see how they would handle being a mom. Thank you to everyone that made to the shower and gave us gifts for Baby Jiji.

Yesterday I had my my 33wk appoint and she is growing 2 weeks ahead of schedule. My Doctor does not think I will go to my due date, not even make it to 38 weeks. As of yesterday she weighs 5lbs 8oz., the sonographer tried to get some pictures after measuring her but she was not having it. She is so over sonograms she had both hands covering her face. I can't even remember how many I've had I have them every couple of weeks because of my gestational diabetes. At this point we still have a lot to do at home, but I'm ready for her to be here I am huge and pretty exhausted most of the time.

I have lots of pictures to upload I hope you enjoy them. My next post may include new born pictures of Jiana. We can only wait and see, Mami is very eager to hold her and kiss her.

Sanibel Island May 2009

Hi everyone! So the last time I posted Will and I were going on a little get away and we had a great time. We went to Sanibel Island and did a lot of nothing and it was great, we ate, slept, lounged and ate some more. Then after a few days in the sun relaxing I got to come home with an annoying crazy rash that to this day is still driving me nuts. It seems to be that my diabetic medication makes my skin more sensitive to the sun, therefore the rash. After a bunch of scratching and sleepless nightand ice cold wash cloths I was able to convince my high risk OB and he took me off the Glyburide. Now it is almost all gone but I also have PUPS the pregnancy rash on my belly from time to time.

Then we celebrated Mother's Day. I think this day besides Carina Birthday is my favorite holiday. Mother's Day reminds me of all that my Mom has done for me and now that I have my little one I know why she did it all. The love I have for my Nina is bigger than I ever thought possible. My favorite time is when she sleeps in our bed and turns me and puts her tiny hand on cheek and says Mami I love you with a big smile on her face. My heart melts, I wish she could stay this little for a couple extra years. For Mother's Day she made a flower at day care and then on Mother's Day morning decorated a flower pot at Lowes for me too.

Then this past weekend we finally started to rearrange things in the house to make room for our Jiana to come home soon. I have less than 3 months to go and lots to do before then. I have to say I fear labor more this time around since I have an idea what to expect. Will tells me don't worry they will tell you when you will get induced and we'll take it from there. I'm trying to make him understand this time it may happen on it's own and early. Today one of my friend's delivered her second baby almost 3 weeks early. Eeeekkk..... That scares me. By the way Congratulations Jasmin.

So I plan to keep the ball rolling for the next few weeks and I will keep you posted. As of right now our Jiana is already 2lbs and that was at the beginning of this month by next week I'm sure she'll be bigger.

Yesterday I reached my 6 month mark, I can't believe it has gone by so fast. This month we have had many good times. Beginning of the month was my Birthday and Carina started her swim classes and also Easter. Carina loves to go to her swim classes if it was up to her she would be there everyday. She never seizes to amaze me she is growing so fast and knows so much. Today her sitter at daycare asked is Carina 3 yrs old or 2 because she is learning so much and she is ahead for her age. Her sitter use to be a Kindergarten teacher and she is teaching the kids the ABC's, colors, reading and Carina is fast to pick things up. What I love the most about this age is that she wants to learn and do things on her own, but still loves to spend time with Mami. She already says that she loves her baby sister and love to kiss and hug my belly.

This weekend Will and I get to have a little get away and are going for a few days to Sanibel Island, just the two of us. It has been 4 years since our last vacation alone, I will miss my Nina very much but we really need to get away before the baby gets here. I'll let you know how it goes. Once we get back we need to kick things into high gear because we basically have nothing done for when the baby get here.

Oh so you know how when your pregnant you get all kinds of comments, well like last time everyone thinks I'm 1 to 2 months further along than I am. Yes my belly is pretty huge already, but now I get them at work too and I work at my OB/GYN. Here are a few; "oh you look bigger everyday", " hey do you remember the blue berry girl from Willy Wonka?". Well let me just say that in 6 months I only gained 8lbs and I am only 4'11 so the only way I can grow is out. So really people don't need to be such retards and say things are oh so sweet. OK so that is my venting for now, good thing I'm not an emotional pregnant lady and after the comments my face says exactly what I'm thinking without saying a word. I guess that covers us for now. Next post we'll have a name for Baby G.

Here is our new family member and future Princess # 3. She was a little shy at first, she had her legs tucked underneath herself and after about 5 or 10 minutes she eventually let us see.

We are very excited and are now trying to find a name for our new baby. Carina loves to hug & kiss my belly and says that when the baby is here she is going to dance with her and show her all kinds of things. I love the fact that she will have a sister to grow up with. Everyone kept saying it's a boy, or hopefully you get the pair, but I was hoping for a girl even when I felt it might have been a boy. I consider my girls my perfect pair.

I feel much better, most of my green feeling is gone. Only problem now is my allergies which I pray for rain so they can ease up. So far I have gained only 3-4 lbs, it goes up and down, I know most people tell me "that's it" but remember I was already a little plumpy before we planted the seed in my belly.

It has been a while since I have posted anything. Happy to we are all good and the belly is growing. Since I last the post Will's Birhtday went by in Feb. , Je'Nay turned 18 March 4th yes Daddy's little girl is not so little and we celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary on March 5th. Our Carina is bigger and smarter everyday she is excited to be a big sister.

Happy New Year!!!

Hi everyone it's been a long time since our last family update. We had a great Christmas and quiet New Year. We spent Christmas at our house and New Years Eve at my sisters house. Christmas Eve we had my family over and my aunt from New York and her husband were able to spend time with us. The girls danced around and we made sure we got it on film. On Christmas morning I thought Carina would be really excited because this year she knew and I thought understood who Santa was. Well on Christmas morning she woke up and I was ready with the camera and I said "Nina Santa came" she came out to the living room and just walked right by the tree and straight to Abuela. She totally ignored the presents until we started to give them to her and then that is when her excitement came out. The smile I was waiting for was even bigger than I could imagine. She loved all her toys and clothes and helped everyone open their presents. After we had breakfast we went to Poinciana and she got to open more presents at Abuela's house.

This Christmas we also got a gift that we can all soon enjoy I found out in early Dec. that in August 2009 we will have a new baby. I don't think Carina understands to well, today I am 10 weeks and she has been kissing my belly. The picture below is our new little one. The top picture shows the little muchkin it is the little circle on top and the second picture also shows the sound waves of it's heart. Once I heard the swishing, I realized that it is was real & we will be blessed with new baby soon.

Christmas is Here and I Love it...

This year for some reason I am more excited about Christmas than usual. On Thanks Giving weekend I had Will go in the atic and get down all our Christmas decorations and we put more lights outside than before. He kept asking if I wanted to seld and deers and I said yes, the Nativiy scene yes that too, and wreath yes. Of course he started to joke about the light bill going up with so much decorations outside. What I loved the most is that this year Carina is old enough to get excited about Christmas too and she wanted to help decorate. We hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year. ROAD TRIP!!!!!

Hilton Head, S.C 2008

Hi everyone so it has been a while since I updated the blog. Let's get caught up, on the weekend of November 21st we spent 4 days in Hilton Head, S. C. & Savannah, GA. We try to make the trip every year in Nov. and this year we made more new and great memories. We spent our first night in our villa which was beautiful, we stayed at the Disney Vacation Club Resort and this year we got a 2 story 3 bedroom villa. Needless to say we could stayed there longer, it was like a log cabin, with a fire place and 2 balconies.

Friday we went to Savannah, GA we walked around the shops and then went to dinner at "The Lady & Son's" it is Paula Dean's restaurant. We were all disappointed to with the food, it is southern food, but the was nothing special or delicious about it. I do not know why so many people stand in line day after day to eat there. We expected a much better menu and food, what we do know is that when we go to Savannah next year we wont go there again. That night we also did what they told us would be a ghost tour, it was more like a walking history tour of Downtown Savannah in 30 degree weather. We were freezing our butts off and not 1 scary thing happened. I was hoping at least someone would jump out of a bush to scare us and then maybe my adrenaline would warm me up, but no such luck. So once again we will no go do that again.

Saturday we hung out at the resort a little and then went to a town in S.C., then ate dinner in the resort it was my sister Nadja's Birthday. Sunday we packed up went to a different part of Savannah by the dock and walked around then headed home. We had a good time and hope we can make the trip again next year. I attached some pictures below.

I just wanted to give an update on the Gonzalez Family. We have just been enjoying spending time with each other. After many different events, surgeries, showers and birthdays, and now we have some down time. Today we had a trip to the park I attached some pics below.

Update on Will

Some of you may not be aware but Will had been diagnosed with a nodule from his thyroid a few months ago. They advised him after some test that he had a cold thyroid on the right side, and it wasn't producing hormones. Also the thyroid was 4 times bigger than it should had been, and because of all this they decided to take it out because they said it could turn into cancer. So Will had his surgery on Thursday and thanks to the Big Man upstairs everything is good. He went in at 9am and by 10:30 he was out of recovery. They tested his thyroid and there was no cancer cells, now he has to wait until the29th for his follow up. He only stayed 1 night in the hospital, so he will be out of work for a week and after his check up he should be able to return to work. I am very thankful for everyone that was praying for him. I am very happy that it all went well and that my hubby is OK, I plan to keep him for a minimum of 50 more years. So please let this be a lesson to all if us if you have a lump or bump or anything weird growing on you please get it checked and don't wait a year to do it. Feel free to come by and keep him company for the next week, just give him a call he is on pain killers and may be taking a nap.

This has been a crazy year first the house flood in January, then in May our motor cycle accident and now in September his surgery. Even though all these challenges have come our way we still have many blessing be thankful for. Thank you Lord always staying by our side.

Make a Wish Baby.

Another year has flown by and our little Carina is now 2 years old. On September 8,2008 I took her to Disney, she saw Beauty & The Beast, Disney Play House and The Little Mermaid Show. She also got to meet The Little Einsteins and Jojo & Goliath, and best of all Mickey Mouse. It was another hot summer day so we only stayed half a day. We have to say a BIG Thank You to Abuelita for giving us the tickets to go. That night we came home and sang her Happy Birthday and the next Saturday was her Birthday Party. On the 13th she had a few friends over from daycare and her cousin Tatiana slept over. She had a blast playing in the back yard and dancing. Thank you to all that were able to come. We thank God all the time for giving us such a happy, healthy, and smart little girl. Time is flying by, before I know it she will be off to school, snif, snif.... ;0( My little baby is not so little anymore, she is learning so fast, and she is very independent little lady.

Now that Carina's Birthday has passed Will is having his thyroid removed this Thursday. He is staying one night in the hospital, then he should be back to work in about 10days. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. Below I will post some pics of Carina's Birthday and a video of her and Tatiana.

OK so today Will had his appointment with the general surgeon, it has been confirmed he will be having surgery to remove his thyroid next month. We asked to have it scheduled after Carina's Birthday so he wont be in pain or recovering on her special day. The Dr. said it takes about an hour for his surgery they are only taking one side out, then it goes to the lab to check for cancer and check the edges for margins free (to make sure all the bad tissue is out)if it was malignant and then they close him up and he'll spend one night at the hospital. Honestly I just think that after all these years of working too hard my husband is trying to get extended vacations. First the bike accident and now this... After all this is done I'm ready for a cruise I'll have to start looking in to it. So for now we just wait until then and see what happens. In the mean time life goes on and our Carina gets bigger, smarter, and more beautiful everyday..

School Is Out!!!!!!

Woo Hoo!!! Thank you God I am done, 10 months and 500 hours later massage school is over. I can now have free nights and plenty of time to spend with my Carina and Will. I plan to spend 1 more month studying on my own then apply take the national board test. Once I do that I am officially in business. Once that is done I will return one last time to school to complete my Business Degree. I keep saying that is it one last time back to school then I return once more. The truth is I don't really like school, but I keep finding more things I want to learn about.

So I'll keep everyone posted on how I do on my nationsl boards. If anyone needs a massage let me know. One more thing I have to say thank you to my hubby for supporting me in all my ventures, I try my best to make you proud Babe. I Love you!

How our family came to be...

It has now been almost 8 years since my husband and I met. Needless to say we never new our lives as 2 single people would become the beautiful family we have now. Will and I grew up in 2 very different places and very different times. I grew up here in FL, in Poinciana where all I pretty much feared was old people in golf carts; Will grew up in Patterson, NJ in a pretty tough neighborhood.

August 10,2001

I must say that I am very thankful to my friend Heidi that introduced us at the Salsa Heat classes. We began dating and before you knew we were together everyday. Our relationship grew stronger with our good and bad times and in March of 2004 Will bought our home and on April 10, 2004 he asked me to be his wife.

On March 5, 2005 we became Mr. & Mrs. William Gonzalez. On this day I became a wife and Stepmother to Will's beautiful daughter Je'Nay. At this time we were also the proud parents of our furry Baby boy Max, our shih-tzu puppy. Later that year in July we got our second furry baby Lexy, shih-tzu #2.

By Christmas of 2005 we conceived our baby girl Carina and we were told that she would join us on September 11,2006. She had other plans on September 8, 2006 Carina Lucien Gonzalez was born at 1:42pm, weighing 8lbs 10.5oz, 20 inches long. God blessed us with a healthy and happy baby girl.

The has become my greatest love and joy in my life. Now I understand what my Mom meant when she tells me how much she loves me. The love I feel for her in unimaginable.... being her mom is the greatest blessing. She is a very beautiful, energetic, intelligent and Sassy little girl. Everyday she amazes us and everyone that meets her loves her. She is now 21 months old and learning more everyday.

These days we are just taking life on day at a time and enjoying our girls. Let's see what surprises life will bring us next.
